Detail

1971 Road Runner 383 automatic, with only 33000 documented miles. We have just completed an extensive and very thorough nut and bolt rotisserie restoration on this classic Mopar.

First of all this is a real FJ6 Sassy Grass Green Road Runner, with the original numbers matching engine, a replacement 727 TorqueFlite automatic transmission and the original 8 ¾ rear end. When we got this car it still had the original paint on it and the original fender tag was still in place. This was a rust free Arizona car with all the original body panels still intact before we took it apart and meticulously went through every piece of this classic to make it one of the best, if not the best, 71 Road Runner anywhere. Of course this is our opinion but we encourage you to take a look this one for yourself and we think you will agree
.
Everything on this car was redone, rebuilt or replaced to better than show room new. They never came out of the factory looking this gorgeous nor were they hand assembled with months of loving and painstaking care.

The interior is all new from Legendary, seats, headliner, door panels and carpet, package tray and trunk divider. The dash was restored by Just Dashes, and the dash bezel and center console restored to like new condition. The gauges were redone by Red Line Gauge works with all new lenses. There are also all new lenses in the rest of the car such as the taillights and side marker lights. The exhaust is from Accurate LTD and is correct for the car with the famous 6 shooter tail pipes. The seat belts are restored to like new condition, the factory AM radio and speaker restored like new also, as is the rest of this incredible Road Runner. The list is endless and as you can see we spared no expense or time restoring this wonderful classic. The factory did not put in the care, time, love and appreciation that we have to build this car to the INCREDIBLE perfection that it is now.

The paint and body is of the highest show quality you will find, with a fit and finish that will satisfy even the pickiest eyes. The under side is like the top with finish and attention to detail superb. All stripes are factory correct for the car. We added the rear wing and the front spoiler.

Wheels are factory 7” rally’s with correct centers and brushed trim rings for 1971 and BFG 255 x 15 on front and 275 x 15 on rear, to give the Road Runner a beefier look and better feel and handling on the road.
The trunk compartment is also finished very correctly with the same attention to detail as the rest of this beautiful car.
